Based in Northampton, Comtact’s Service Delivery Centre (SDC) is based at the same premises as our primary UK class 3 data centre which forms a rare market proposition. Comtact’s Network and Security Operations Centre (NOC & SOC) offers 24×7 proactive monitoring and remediation service that leverages industry leading network monitoring software, including SolarWinds, expertly configured to ensure Comtact is enabled to meet ITIL defined service level agreements.
Our secure delivery centre can monitor and manage your IT Infrastructure remotely 24X7, working as an extension of your internal team to provide a full IT network management and or security solutions. This means that we can resolve many issues before you’re even aware a problem exists.
By sistering our NOC & SOC in the same premises as our Midlands data centre we are able to offer our customers a level of assurance that any managed hosting services that they choose to place with us will be met with a level of due care and fast response only available by having the service desk and engineers on site 24x7x365, not remotely commuting.
Our experience includes:
First Line Engineers; All First Line Engineers are experienced, multi-vendor and have a broad capability of all supported network and security products. In addition to this all First Line Engineers are capable of carry out Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs), responding to alerts from Managed Service networks and generating reports for Managed Services customers. The team is operational 24X7.
Consultants; The team members all have broad networking (routing & switching) as well individual specialisations such as Cyber Security, IP Telephony, WAN/LAN Optimisation and Wireless. The team is responsible for carrying out complex changes to specialised products and providing proactive services. The Consultants are a point of escalation for the First Line Engineers.
The NOC & SOC team is supported by our Field Service Engineers who have multi-vendor skills and carry out all field based duties such as conducting audits, carrying out on site diagnostic thought to hardware replacement and restoration of service.
Comtact’s NOC & SOC is accredited to ISO 27001 (Information Security) and ITIL best practice.
