Our existing IT support contractor provided extremely poor service with on site support taking up to 48 hours to arrive and emails and phone calls regularly being ignored. This, added to the fact that our PCs were around four years old meant that these unanswered support calls were becoming more frequent. This additional downtime meant that we could not provide our customers with the high level of service they required and we were losing business as a result.

The main reason we moved to Hosted IT was to have a stable and secure provider of the latest versions of the applications we were running, faster, with our existing hardware. We also enjoyed the flexibility of having no contractual tie ins. Finally our cash flow was improved immeasurably by not having to buy a new £5,000 server or additional PCs, allowing us to invest in more business oriented projects. Also, we’ve found that not only has Hosted IT allowed us to be more productive, but any questions could be answered remotely over the phone meaning that queries are resolved in minutes rather than days. Finally the whole conversion process to Hosted IT took only 72 hours from the first onsite visit to being fully online.

We'd known about Hosted IT for some time, but without a catalyst to move our IT operations to the service. This changed when a major unexpected computer system crash left Tower Bridge without computer access for almost two weeks, including all our business critical and contact information.

Now Hosted IT provides all our applications and data online, so we can access the same Windows desktop, applications and data, regardless of which computer we’re using. This also means that we don’t have to install any of our applications or data locally – everything is held centrally.
